You live in London and, like most Londoners, you’re busy. Between work and play it can be hard to find the time to sort out the nitty gritty of life or to take full advantage of all the city has to offer. Enter urbanmole, the quick and easy way to connect with a community of like-minded people, and to access a wealth of local information, opportunities and ideas.

Created by people like you, urbanmole aims to make London living that bit easier and more rewarding by building and linking a community of young professionals, and ensuring that you have access to “all you need for city living”.

What do we mean?

Do you ever find it hard to capitalise on the capital’s vast range of opportunities? We did. urbanmole was born out of a frustration that – for all London’s limitless potential – it is often hard to really make the most of it.
  • Where can I find someone reliable who won’t fleece me to come and fix the bathroom?
  • How do I find a trustworthy housemate?
  • How do I find the ideal job for me in London?
  • Is there a way I can connect quickly with local people to sell those theatre tickets I can’t use?
  • When is the Ghost sample sale?
  • Where can I meet eligible singles?

Who started urbanmole?

After much digging around, and a lot of help from their friends, Andrew Eames and Gareth Weir set about creating a quirky website that was fun, free, simple to use, trustworthy and, above all, useful… and soon urbanmole was born.

Join urbanmole – registration is FREE, QUICK and EASY, and will give you full access to all the information on the site.

Andrew
An outdoor sports fanatic hailing from Rostrevor in Northern Ireland, Andrew grew up messing about on the water around Carlingford Lough before hopping across the water to Durham University. After some youthful high jinks backpacking, he put on his glasses and joined a city law firm, where he worked for a few years, before moving on to an investment bank.

When not working on urbanmole, most likely to be trying to kitesurf.

Favourite mole fact: B&Q stocks mole killer in Ireland and there are no moles in Ireland.
Gareth
Born in Cameroon, schooled in Bournemouth, a philosophy student at Durham and then Cambridge, Gareth later gravitated to London to work for a management consultancy – all the while honing his own philosophy that variety is spice of life, and that there is always time for a beer. An avid sportsman (but gym-hater), he loves good food and wine, all things mole and getting the best out of his favourite city.

When not working on urbanmole, most likely to be taking the Honda CBR for a breath of fresh air

Favourite mole fact: They are only found in the northern hemisphere.
